Soccer Recap: St. George's Comes Up Short

After flying high against Memphis Central two weeks ago, St. George came back down to earth. The St. George's Gryphons came up short against the Collierville Dragons on Tuesday, falling 5-1. The loss was the Gryphons' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. George's fell to 2-1. As for Collierville, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, St. George's will challenge Memphis University School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Collierville, they will square off against Christian Brothers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Collierville has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 14 goals over their last three contests.
