Softball Recap: Larue County Hawks vs. North Hardin Trojans
Larue County stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the North Hardin Trojans a 12-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Larue County sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Paisley Williams was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Erin Hornback, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Larue County has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for North Hardin, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Larue County will challenge Somerset at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Hardin, they will head out on the road to face off against Danville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
