Shenandoah had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Daleville on Tuesday. The Raiders' pitcher stepped up to hand the Broncos a 10-0 shutout. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by ten runs or more this season.

Not much got past Olivia Watson, who gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep Daleville off the board. Watson has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Gabrielle Patrick, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lydia Schwagmeier, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Shenandoah's record is now 8-2. As for Daleville, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shenandoah will square off against Randolph Southern at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Daleville, they will face off against New Castle at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
