Volleyball Recap: Trenton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Trenton was the 3-0 winner over Ector when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Friday. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-17 in the first set.

Trenton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-17, 25-16, 25-13.

Trenton has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Ector, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4-1.

Looking ahead, Trenton will be playing at home against Savoy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ector will be paying especially close attention to the Tigers' matchup: after the Tigers face off against the Cardinals, they'll take on Ector again at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
