Basketball Recap: Smithfield Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Smithfield can now relate to. They lost to the Gloucester Dukes at home by a 38-24 margin on Tuesday.

Smithfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Gloucester, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-14.

Smithfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gloucester, they will take on Manor at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Manor will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Gloucester surely won't give up without a fight.
