Volleyball Recap: Perry Central Find Success

Perry Central had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Salem Lions by a score of 2-0.

Perry Central's offense was headlined by Masen Labhart and Rylee Parr, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Mya Litherland and her seven assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Bryn Yeager, racking up three apiece.

Perry Central has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Borden on the 16th. As for Salem, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mitchell on the 16th.
