Reagan suffered their closest loss since December 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Parkland Mustangs by a score of 65-62. Even though they lost, the Raiders' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.4 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alissa Young, who went 8 of 12 to rack up 21 points. Those 21 points gave Young a new career-high. Avery Corbin was another key player, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards.

Even though they lost, Reagan was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parkland only posted one assist.

Reagan has already played their next game, a 45-40 victory against South Stokes on the 5th. As for Parkland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-51 win against Central Davidson on the 6th.
