Basketball Recap: Botkins Comes Up Short

Botkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Houston Wildcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-41 back in January.

Botkins' defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Houston, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9.

Botkins will venture away from home to square off against Allen East at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Houston, they will take on Preble Shawnee at 12:30 p.m. on February 15th.
