Volleyball Recap: Berean Christian Extends Winning Streak to Four

Berean Christian had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Piedmont Highlanders by a score of 3-1. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Highlanders, too.

Berean Christian was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 18-25, 25-20.

Berean Christian was led to victory by Anna McCombe and Marley Seelye. McCombe had 22 assists and eight digs, while Seelye had 16 digs and one assist. McCombe is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

Berean Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Piedmont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Berean Christian will take on College Park at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Piedmont, they will head out to take on Hayward at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
