Baseball Recap: Gallatin County Comes Up Short

Gallatin County lost to Eminence back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gallatin County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Casrson Wilson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was Wilson's first of the season.

Gallatin County's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Eminence, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

While Gallatin County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
