Basketball Recap: Monte Vista Comes Up Short

Monte Vista lost against San Ramon Valley back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Monte Vista Mustangs took a 71-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Ramon Valley Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while the Wolves are ranked 20th).

Monte Vista's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for San Ramon Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Monte Vista nor San Ramon Valley have any future games scheduled.
