Christ Our Rock Lutheran proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by nine) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles 4-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Silver Stallions also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Christ Our Rock Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games.
