Soccer Game Preview: Fort Vancouver vs. La Center

The Fort Vancouver Trappers will take on the La Center Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Fort Vancouver's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Toledo 8-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Fort Vancouver.

Meanwhile, La Center got the win against Onalaska on Wednesday by a conclusive 8-0. The final result isn't all the surprising considering La Center's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Onalaska are ranked 252nd).

La Center is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four contests. As for Fort Vancouver, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
