On Monday, Vero Beach came up short against Melbourne and fell 62-54.

Meanwhile, Centennial suffered their closest defeat since December 6, 2023 on Saturday. They fell just short of Cypress Bay by a score of 71-68.

Vero Beach will have to keep a close watch on Jayden Prosper and Jeremy Felix, a pair of players who had a big impact on Centennial's prior game. Prosper went 6 for 10 on his way to 21 points, to go along with five boards and three steals, while Felix posted 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Vic Jackson, who put up five points and nine rebounds.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Vero Beach, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
