Volleyball Game Preview: Pickerington North Panthers vs. Big Walnut Golden Eagles

The Pickerington North Panthers will square off against the Big Walnut Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pickerington North is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Westerville Central. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Warhawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Pickerington North was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 23-25, 25-27, 25-19, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Big Walnut waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Braves.

While Big Walnut might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Whetstone scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 18-25, 25-23.

Pickerington North's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2. As for Big Walnut, the win got them back to even at 11-11.
