Leonardtown extended their road winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Gretchen Fleck. The Leonardtown Raiders were the clear victor by a 52-27 margin over the Great Mills Hornets on Friday thanks to Fleck, who went 8-for-15 on her way to 17 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Abbey Robrecht was another key player, putting up seven points along with eight boards and four steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Despite the loss, Great Mills had strong showings from KARLEIGH THOMAS, who posted 13 points, and ABRIL ESPARZA, who scored four points and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, ESPARZA now owns an excellent 45.7% shooting accuracy. TEYONA CARROLL also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Leonardtown's win bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Great Mills, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Leonardtown will be playing in front of their home fans against Calvert at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Great Mills, they will head out on the road to take on Chopticon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
