You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Hertford County's strategy against Washington on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bears blew the Pam Pack out of the water with a 55-27 final score. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Pam Pack recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Hertford County found their leader in freshman Da'Zhiya Everette, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 21 boards. Kimayiah Johnson was another key player, putting up three points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

The win got Hertford County back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Hertford County will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Gates County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington, they will challenge Goldsboro at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
