Recap: Theodore Bobcats vs. Daphne Trojans
The Theodore Bobcats lost against the Daphne Trojans back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Theodore took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Daphne. While losing is never fun, Theodore can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while Daphne is ranked 18th).
When it comes to explaining why Theodore lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jazmyn Bigham. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds.
Theodore's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Daphne, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
Theodore will head out on the road to face off against Vestavia Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Vestavia Hills is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games. Daphne is on the road again on Monday and play against Thompson at 5:00 p.m. on December 18th.
