Basketball Recap: Penelope Comes Up Short

Penelope lost against Coolidge back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Penelope Wolverines lost to the Coolidge Yellowjackets at home by a 52-37 margin. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Penelope's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Coolidge, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

Penelope wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-40 defeat against Mount Calm on the 11th. As for Coolidge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-40 victory against Neches on the 11th.
