Football Game Preview: Kingsley-Pierson Panthers vs. Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans

Kingsley-Pierson is 0-5 against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire since September of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Titans at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

On Friday, Kingsley-Pierson took their matchup with ease, bagging a 65-6 win over West Bend-Mallard. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Wolverines are ranked 49th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire). They blew past St. Edmond 66-44 on Friday. Fans of the Titans have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Kingsley-Pierson's record now sits at 4-1. As for Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire, their record is now 4-0.

Kingsley-Pierson ended up a good deal behind Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire when the teams last played back in October of 2022, losing 50-34. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
