It was a good run, but Jamestown unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 78-58 to the St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Red & Green have suffered since January 20, 2024.

It was another big night for Nate Blenman, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 16 boards for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute. With that strong performance, Blenman is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. Jaymeir Goosby was another key player, going 10 for 16 on his way to 20 points and three steals.

Jamestown's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Jamestown will head out to take on Lancaster at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Jamestown's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, they will host Bishop Timon-St. Jude at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute is on a eight-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Bishop Timon-St. Jude a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
