Volleyball Recap: Lubbock Takes a Loss

Lubbock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Plainview Bulldogs. The Westerners were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 25-10, 25-7.

Lubbock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-25. As for Plainview, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 10-15.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lubbock is set to square off against their familiar foe Caprock at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Plainview will take on rival Tascosa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
