Basketball Game Preview: Roy Royals vs. Bonneville Lakers

The Roy Royals will take on the Bonneville Lakers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Roy lost to Northridge on the road by a 69-55 margin. The Royals haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Colby Frokjer put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted 20 points and five rebounds. Tripp Randall was another key player, putting up seven points.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bonneville beat Clearfield 55-51 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lakers.

Roy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Bonneville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Roy couldn't quite finish off Bonneville in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 and fell 57-54. Can Roy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
