Football Recap: Many Farms Takes a Loss

Many Farms extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They were outmatched by the Holbrook Roadrunners and fell 50-8. The Lobos were not able to make up for their defeat to the Roadrunners from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

As for Holbrook, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 points in those games.

Matthias Montijo produced another solid performance rushing for 104 yards and two scores. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 66 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Darren Justman, who threw for 116 yards and a pair of TDs.

Many Farms does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holbrook, they have already played their next contest, a 20-18 loss against Tuba City on the 24th.
