Basketball Game Preview: Great Falls Red Devils vs. Lee Central Stallions

The Great Falls Red Devils are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Lee Central Stallions at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Great Falls will head into Tuesday's contest out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were outmatched by C.A. Johnson and fell 63-20. The loss was the Red Devils' first of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lee Central). They breezed by Lewisville to the tune of 62-25 on Tuesday. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 31 points or more this season.

Lee Central's win came from a few key players Great Falls will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Serenity Williams, who went 7 for 12 on her way to 15 points and four steals. She has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ke'Myra Dennis, who posted ten points in addition to eight steals and seven boards.

Lee Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in six consecutive games.

Lee Central's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Great Falls, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
