South Lyon came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Lakeland Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win on Friday.

Kennedy Duncan paced South Lyon's offense, picking up 11 kills. Duncan got some help from Lucy Stoll and her 23 assists. Duncan also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kate Sulkowski, each putting up two.

South Lyon's victory bumped their record up to 30-8. As for Lakeland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-17-1 record this season.

South Lyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Clarkston on the 11th. As for Lakeland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Rochester on the 18th.
