Baseball Recap: Comstock Takes a Loss

Comstock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 4-0 to the Allegan Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 on Thursday.

Comstock saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dom Narwick, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Comstock's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Allegan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12.

Comstock and Allegan could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Colts (ranked 569th) will meet Centreville (ranked 198th) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Allegan will take on Hopkins at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (459 vs. 126).
