It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but South Side ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They walked away with a 12-7 victory over the Union Area Scotties. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Andrew Corfield, who went 1-for-6 with seven stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those seven stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Jacob Ziegler was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.

South Side's record is now 15-3. As for Union Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

As of now, neither South Side nor the Scotties have any future games scheduled.
