Hillcrest came out on top against Greenwood on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Rams took their game against the Eagles 10-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-0 on Tuesday.

The win made it two in a row for Hillcrest and bumps their season record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Greenwood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hillcrest will face off against Fountain Inn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 3.2, the Fury 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Greenwood, they will challenge North Augusta at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
