Basketball Recap: Towns County Indians vs. Rabun County Wildcats

Towns County lost against Rabun County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Towns County Indians were dealt a 105-64 defeat at the hands of the Rabun County Wildcats. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (59), the Indians still had to take the loss.

It was another big night for Huey Blalock, who shot 6-for-11 from long range and dropped a double-double on 33 points and 11 assists for Rabun County. That's the most points Blalock has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayes Free, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Towns County and nudges their season record down to 8-8. As for Rabun County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3.
