Football Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was the 28-21 winner over Trinity Christian Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Generals took a 22-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Conquerors on Friday. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Terel Dallas, who rushed for 126 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 carries. Those 126 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Dallas.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their record now sits at 2-4.

Looking ahead, Riverside will be playing in front of their home fans against Englewood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Generals will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Conquerors surely won't give up without a fight.
