Football Recap: Parkway Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Parkway's last matchup with Evangel Christian Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Panthers were outmatched by the Eagles and fell 55-27. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Despite the loss, Parkway still got an impressive performance from Kb Williams, who threw for 231 yards and two touchdowns.

Peyton Houston had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 289 yards and three TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 80 yards and one score on only ten carries for Evangel Christian Academy. Demarkus Evans was Houston's top target, picking up 96 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Having lost for the first time this season, Parkway fell to 9-1. As for Evangel Christian Academy, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

As of now, neither Parkway nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
