Baseball Recap: Chandler Park Academy Comes Up Short

The matchup between Chandler Park Academy and Henry Ford Academy on Wednesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Eagles lost 21-3 to the Navigators. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Navigators apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Codee Turner was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jaycee Conley, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Chandler Park Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Henry Ford Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chandler Park Academy will host Lincoln-King Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Henry Ford Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against University Prep at 4:30 p.m.
