Gonzaga had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the St. Albans Bulldogs with a sharp 7-1 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for Gonzaga, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Gonzaga, bringing their record up to 14-4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those six matchups. As for St. Albans, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5-2.

Looking ahead, Gonzaga will be playing in front of their home fans against St. John's on Friday. St. Albans does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
