Basketball Game Preview: Germantown Warhawks vs. Sheboygan Falls Falcons

The Germantown Warhawks will head out on the road to face off against the Sheboygan Falls Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Germantown has given up an average of 65.2 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Germantown is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Brookfield East on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Warhawks were beaten by the Spartans 78-44. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Germantown's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Teigan Stuve, who posted 14 points and five boards, and Macey Burling, who scored eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Stuve has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Kylee Bell also deserves some recognition as she posted her first blocks of the season.

Meanwhile, Sheboygan Falls waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Tigers as they made off with a 54-28 win. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 26 points or more this season.

Sheboygan Falls' victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Germantown, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
