Fulton came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Morrison Mustangs. The Steamers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Fulton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-19.

Kerby Germann paced Fulton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Germann were helped by Zoe Kunau and Brianne Brennan, who contributed ten assists each. Belle Curley controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Fulton's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Morrison, they dropped their record down to 10-11-2 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Fulton will be taking part in a tournament against Erie-Prophetstown at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Morrison, they will host Newman Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
