Basketball Preview: Ridgevue Warhawks vs. Emmett Huskies
The Ridgevue Warhawks will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Emmett Huskies at 7:30 p.m. Ridgevue has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 394 points over their last six games.
Even though Ridgevue has not done well against the Falcons recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Ridgevue walked away with a 62-50 victory over the Falcons.
Tucker Tiddens was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points. Another player making a difference was Javonte Boles, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Emmett scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 68-53 victory over Vallivue. That looming 68-53 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Emmett yet this season.
Ridgevue has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Emmett, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-9.
Ridgevue strolled past the Huskies in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a score of 60-45. Does Ridgevue have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
