After soaring to 31 points the game before, Gilchrist was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were outmatched by the Elkton Elks and fell 47-7. The Grizzlies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Gilchrist's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Elkton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
