League recap: St. John's' Brown delivers best pitching performance from past week

A Region VI league recap: 3/20/13

London Brown was the top pitcher in A Region VI this week, leading St. John's. He picked up two wins and 26 strikeouts.

The Islanders had a successful week, as they won three total games to lead the league. St. John's beat Baptist Hill 13-3, Cross 15-4 and North Charleston 10-0.

The Islanders' pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only zero hits and ten walks, both of which led the league.

After picking up two wins and 26 strikeouts this week, Brown now leads the league in both categories.

St. John's' Brown led the league in strikeouts this week with 26. He's first in the league with 33 total strikeouts.



Brown struck out 12 in the Islanders' 15-4 win over the Trojans on March 15.
