Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask De La Salle). Everything went their way against the Landry Buccaneers on Friday as the De La Salle Cavalier made off with a 6-2 win. For the Cavalier, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Buccaneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

De La Salle's win bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Landry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7-1.

De La Salle wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Hammond on the 11th. As for Landry, they will head out on the road to square off against Archbishop Shaw at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
