             The Christ the King Crusaders are taking a road trip to  square off against the Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Given that  both  suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
 Last Friday, Christ the King ended up a good deal behind Mountain Island Charter and lost  34-15.

Fritz is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made six or more in the last seven games he's  played dating back to last season.
 Meanwhile, Winston-Salem Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They took a  blow against Community School of Davidson, falling  51-0. The  contest marked the first time this year in which the Phoenix were not able to get on the board.
 Christ the King's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Winston-Salem Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
 Christ the King came out on top in a nail-biter against Winston-Salem Prep when the teams last played  back in October of 2023, sneaking past  13-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for Christ the King since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
