Baseball Recap: Northern Adirondack Bobcats vs. Ticonderoga Sentinels
Northern Adirondack extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping their season record down to 2-3 in the process. They lost 10-3 to the Ticonderoga Sentinels. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Sentinels when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Hunter Matton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
As for Ticonderoga, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2. With that win, they brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
On Ticonderoga's side, Dom Crossman made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. With that strong performance, Crossman is now averaging an impressive 5.8 strikeouts per game. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
