Basketball Game Preview: Enka Jets vs. Pisgah Bears + How To Watch

The Enka Jets will challenge the Pisgah Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated (Enka has six wins , while Pisgah has three).

While Enka didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Tuscola on Tuesday as they made off with a 58-38 victory. The Jets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 20 points or more this season.

Enka's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amiya Wardlaw, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ali Crook, who posted 12 points and four steals.

Enka smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Pisgah ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-57 victory over Erwin. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bears have posted since December 28, 2024.

Enka's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Pisgah, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Enka came up short against Pisgah when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 44-35. Can the Jets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
