Baseball Recap: North Little Rock Takes a Loss

North Little Rock managed to slip by Catholic the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Charging Wildcats came up short against the Rockets on Tuesday, falling 12-2. The Charging Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rockets earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Jackson Estes and Will Jones did some serious damage despite the final result: Estes went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Jones got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

North Little Rock has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Catholic, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-8.

Looking ahead, North Little Rock will square off against Little Rock Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Charging Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Catholic, they will take on Jonesboro at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
