Basketball Recap: Martin Luther Comes Up Short

Martin Luther was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 98-48 loss at the hands of the Knox Falcons. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-28.

Despite the loss, Martin Luther still got an impressive performance from Damien Peterson, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Everette Mckeller, who posted eight points.

Martin Luther's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Knox, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Martin Luther will face off against Morrisville-Eaton at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Knox, they will take on Life Center Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
