Everything went their way against Out-of-Door Academy on Tuesday as Sarasota Christian made off with a 53-29 win. Sarasota Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.
Sarasota Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alivia Fullerton, who scored 20 points. Fullerton is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenda Bresciani, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight defeat. They fell to Braden River 32-26. Families Instructing Students HomeSchool has struggled against the Pirates recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Melody Lee put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. That was a full 38.5% of Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Makayla Calzada, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
