Sarasota Christian came into Tuesday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against Out-of-Door Academy on Tuesday as Sarasota Christian made off with a 53-29 win. Sarasota Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Sarasota Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alivia Fullerton, who scored 20 points. Fullerton is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenda Bresciani, who scored 13 points.

Meanwhile, Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight defeat. They fell to Braden River 32-26. Families Instructing Students HomeSchool has struggled against the Pirates recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

That was a full 38.5% of Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Makayla Calzada, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.

Sarasota Christian's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-10. As for Families Instructing Students HomeSchool, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season.

Sarasota Christian came up short against the Hawks in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, falling 47-36. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Lee, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 21 rebounds.
