Baseball Recap: Cannon County Takes a Loss

Cannon County managed to slip by Cascade the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions came up short against the Champions on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Champions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Cannon County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Cascade, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-3-1.

Looking ahead, Cannon County will head out on the road to square off against Watertown at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Cascade will be paying especially close attention to the Lions' contest: after the Lions faces off against the Purple Tigers, they'll take on Cascade again at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
