The Monessen Greyhounds will be playing at home against the Mapletown Maples at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Monessen saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Scherer, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Mapletown came up short against Carlynton on Friday, falling 17-2.

Mapletown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Monessen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
