It was a good run, but Brunswick unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Pierce County Bears by a score of 2-1. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Brunswick actually scored more points across those three sets (60-50), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 9-25, 16-14.

Brunswick's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Alina Dent, who had three digs and three aces, and Ashley Adair, who had ten digs and nine kills.

Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 30-12. As for Pierce County, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 17-20 record.

Brunswick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Effingham County on the 10th. Pierce County has also already played their next contest (against Appling County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
