Volleyball Recap: Grimsley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Grimsley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Reagan Raiders. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Whirlies were not able to get on the board.

Grimsley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-19.

Reagan was led to victory by Klaire Weiss and Katherine Brinkley. Weiss had 13 assists and six digs, while Brinkley had 13 digs. That's the most assists Weiss has posted since back in October of 2024. Hannah Bagg also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Grimsley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Reagan, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grimsley will square off against Bishop McGuinness at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Reagan, they will take on Northern Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
